50cl bottle bought at the brewpub. Pours dark reddish brown colour with a huge most good lasting tan head. Aroma of dark malt, syrup, molasses. Taste of dark sweet malt, molasses, some chocolate and caramel.

Bottle 500ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Bautzener Schwarzes ].[ Trade by Rasmus40 ]. Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, dark malt, brown sugar, light bread, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, dark malt, sweet malt, bread - cardboard, light roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150919]

Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, roast malt, nuts and hops.

Brown/black pour. Aroma of watered down roasted malts, coffee, some smoke. Taste is light sweetness with a decent hop bite and some roast. Ok.

Fruchtig-süßer Antrunk mit hintergründigem und sehr mildem Malz. Dieses wird im Mittelteil deutlich kräftiger, auch die bananige Süße legt leicht zu. Mild, angenehm süffig, im Abgang zu harmlos, wenig hopfig, leicht malzig-süß. 10/8/9/8/8/8

Bottle: Very deep amber coloured, presumably clear, stable medium-sized off-white head; sweetish-caramelly nose with a subtle fruity (dried black berries) background; moderate - mainly - sweetish flavour with a light bitterness, light to medium bodied; lingering sweet-bitter finish. Tastes like a good, slightly diluted Dunkler Bock.....
