Bottle. Kernel online. Misted pale gold. Lovely Kernel swede. Hops are restrained but god like in the way they go together. Sweet citrus and a squeaky tang. White grape happenings. Super clean grain. Taste is backing things up, although a 5.8% depth as opposed to 5% would possibly have worked better. Clean and refreshing overall. Would smash.

Bottle at home, picked up from Mother Arch ii, 24/10/23. Light haze on a golden orange pour topped with a good sized lasting white head. Nose is orange peel, grass, citric tinged straw, airy malts, lemon rind. Taste comprises tangerine, melon, grass, mandarin, papaya, soft malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced light juice laden hop bitterness. On point pale.

A light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light malts, typically modern Kernel thinness in the mouthfeel but a more pronounced sweetness in this one. Citra and NZ Cascade (now Taiheke) bring light but flavoursome orange, tangerine and something a little tropical ride along with a soft pine. Touch of candy fruits towards the semi dry and crisp finish. Once again, a nice pale from Kernel, but the hops, whilst clear are just lacking a little weight. In HiFi terms, its like there are heavy curtains in front of the speakers.

Sourced at the Kernel Taproom. Pours lightly hazy gold with a frothy, pure white head. Gorgeous beer, with bright citrus notes, soft rindy bitterness, background pale malts. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation and pillowing texture. Balanced finish, more tangerine, lemon. Exceptional.

Keg at the kernel arch 7. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is light grassy, citrus hop, lime zest, green citrus, soft wheat. Flavour is composed of dry rustic wheaty bready grains, mixed citrus hop, some pine and herbal notes. Palate is frothy airy carbonation, some hop resin. Interesting pale.
