[Cask at the Crown Hotel, Portpatrick.] Rather a long way from the brewery, but in decent enough condition. an amber pour with a thick cream coloured head; orangey citrus aroma; biscuity malt body with a rather thin citrus taste; and a pleasant, light citrusy bitterness to finish.

Cask at the Crown, Hazlemere (RAR locale SCOPE !), 15/07/23. Clear amber with a decent lasting off white cap ... lacing ensues. Nose is orange peel, light floral notes, bready tones, caramel. Taste comprises light caramel wafer, biscuit, bready notes, orange peel, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a modest bitter edge. Pleasant enough easy drinking cask ale.
