Draught at Southampton Arms, London.
Dark golden, moderate hazy body, with a small, creamy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of grass, flowers, herbs, citrus, some tropical fruits, biscuit.
Tastes of grass, some onion, citrus, herbs, subtle tropical fruits, some biscuit.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes bitter, quite dry, zesty, herbal, grassy, floral.
Good, but nothing special. Quite herbal, even with slight onion notes, that I don’t like much. Still drinks fresh.

Cask at the Cock. This is my 100tg Howling Hops beer. This one pours murky yellow with a disappointingly large amount of suspended floaties and a frothy white head. The has some citrus rind, floral hops, gooey pine. Light-medium sweet flavor with some berry yoghurt, tangerine, lemon peel, grass. Light to medium bodied and mostly flat. Finishes with some grainy pale malts, dirty hay, more grass, lemon curd, raspberry yoghurt, some rindy bitterness. Not excellent.

Cask at The Cock. It pours lightly hazy with a small white head. The nose is soft, fruity, orange peel, lemon, mild acidity and straw. The taste is crisp, orange peel, grapefruit, lemon, light bitterness, straw and some astringency with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty nice stuff.
