On tap at The Bottle Shop London. Hazy gold almost sour on the aroma. Lemon barley water not unpleasant but a bit full on. Very lemony hoppy. Woke me the hell up.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Lots of lacing. Aroma of lemon, lime, pine and Rich Tea biscuits. Flavour of kiwi fruit, underripe pineapple and orange. Thin body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Light and juicy.

Re-rating at Stockbridge Tap Tap Takeover. The keg version of this completely stole the show. It was worth a second pint. Previous rating on 15/04/15 = 7+4+7+4+15 = 3.7 Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - grapefruit but not dry, more like it’s mixed with pineapple or mango. Taste - pineapple and grapefruit again. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - it’s certainly an assault by a tonne of hops.

Bottle. Bier Huis, Ossett. Dark gold, with a light haze. Film, and a few bubbles of white head. Pineapple. Peach. Lots of sweet hops. Creamy malts. Some punchy resin. Taste is grainy sweet. Takes a while, but turns oily bitter. Soft carbonation. Oily, slick palate. Finishes oily bitter. Punchy enough, but a bit greasy overall.

Keg at Brewdog Shepard’s Bush. Clearing up the last of the tap takeover. Mostly clear golden / orange coloured pour with a thin lasting white head. Aroma is punchy tropical fruits, little dank note, nice spicy pineapple, clean grains and a bit of straw. Little funky orange on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of crisp base grains little straw, firm grapefruit / orange citrus bitterness. Has an assertive punchy clean bitterness. Palate is light with crisp finish and moderate carbonation. Long lingering bitterness at the back of the throat.

Keg at BD Sheps B. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is dank hops, toasty grass, guava, watermelon and a touch of passion fruit. The taste is crisp, bitter, piney, orange rind, straw, pepper, minerals and toasty grain with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp and drinkable. Not bad.
