Bottle. An unclear, dark reddish brown beer with a dense, beige head leaving curtains. Almost funky-feeling aroma with pine cones and some citrus zest. Grapefruit perhaps. It’s full-bodied and soft on the palate, with tannins and a nice carbonation level. Too woody in the flavor, with grapefruit zest, pine cones and some pale malts. Nice bitterness too. Lasting hop dominated finish with the wood sure present. Not my favorite idea, storing an IPA on wood. 150711
