Bottle shared at work, kind courtesy of Hannes. Fairly prominent licorice and somewhat less intense coconut and barrel notes characterise the beer. Am not a fan of licorice.

Bottle, 330 ml shared with kajser27, Max and MiroB. Dark brown with tan head. Chocolate, cocoa, some coconut, sweet, nice bitter finish.

Bottle sample at at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black. Chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, coconut, licorice, sweet and a bit umami, full-bodied, quite boozy.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 17/05/22. Black with a moderate tan cap that soon escapes to little. Nose is dark malts, spice, dark chocolate, liquorice, nutty, mellow barrel, light roasted tones. Taste comprises rich chocolate, alcohol, coconut shavings, bourbon rise, dark malts, brown sugar melt, molasses. Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close spiked with a balanced rise of alcohol. Solid BA impy.

Bottle at home picked up from HOTM. A thick dark brown black coloured pour with a fine dark tan head that fades to a whisp. Aroma is lovely big thick bourbon barrel, vanilla, coconut, boozy biscotti, cakey malts, dates. Flavour is composed of thick chewy malts, boozy fruit cake, big boozy bourbon, vanilla, some tang, woody notes, some vinous fruit, layered and boozy. Palate is thick and chewy, medium sweet, tang, oily. Really nice.

Bottle, 13.6%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, liquorice, barrel and coconut. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, liquorice, barrel, coconut, little vanilla, little dark fruit, warming and medium bitter.

330ml bottle @ Pien, Helsinki. Heavy, smooth and slightly roasty with loads of licorice and some sweet coconut and bourbon notes.
