Bottle shared in Hazlemere - picked up at Pigs Ear. Pours clear, black-brown with a modest, foamy beige head. Medium sweet flavour with compelling fudge character, sturdy roast, mellow ash, vanilla, toasted toffee, black coffee. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Light warmth in the finish, more sturdy roast, dark fruits, raisins, toasted marshmallows, subtle earthy bitterness. Solid old-school BA stout.
