The wort fermented and matured entirely in oak barrels.
This portion of the resulting blend refermented in a single firkin with a large concentration of white and red grapes from our brewery neighbour.
The beer then conditioned in bottle for five months before release.

Bottle thanks to BillyT. It pours cloudy pink - rose with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, tart, floral, vinous, red grape, rose wine, sherbet, funk, must, granny smith apple, grapple, zingy, floral, sherbet and sour candy. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, zingy, puckering, sherbet, sour candy, vinous, loads of grape, rose wine, minerality, spritzy, granny smith apple, touch of bramble, soor plooms and floral with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Bright, refreshing. So dam drinkable. Especially in between loads of adjunct imperial stouts.

Mills fruited share round 2. Pours opaque pinky orange with a frothy white head. Aroma: sherbet/yoghurt, tangy sweet 'n' tart grapes. Taste: more sweet 'n' sour grape action, dry, light tartness, mild funk. Light to medium body with frothy carbonation. Found this a little subtle. Lowest rated of the 4 sampled (no quince)

Bottle, shared round Dan and Megan’s gaff, courtesy of Andrey who done good getting this and the rhubarb! A sort of deep pinky orange colour with a full haze. Impressively sturdy, off white foam. Nose has sherbet in spades. Juicy red grape. Tart white grape. Grape pip and stem. Sings with fruit. Taste is sweet and lightly sour. Nicely woody bitterness. Divine mouthfeel with foamy, massaging carbonation. More juicy and tart fruit to finish. Beautiful.

Nose is tarte berries, funk, damp hay, hedgerow esters, pink berry sherbets. Taste comprises sharp berry fruits, berry pips, lemon rind, herb, funk, grass, light floral aspect. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, drying edge to the close. Solid sour and at an impressive 4.0 is bottom of the series for me!
