Canned@SBWF2013. Amber colour with a small head. Aroma is fruity, floral and wooden. Flavour is fruity, mild wooden notes as well as a quite crispy kind of maltiness to it. Basic amber ale.

Canned at SBWF. Hazy amber, small head. Fruity salty nose. Mid dry with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Salty with some syrup and notes of grapefruit. Short bitter finish, Quite shallow.

Sample at the brewery taproom. Hazy amber pour with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and mild hops. Light-bodied with flavors of malt, caramel and grassy hops. The finish is short and sweet with a grainy malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Pint can courtesy of BVC. The pour is hazed orange copper, with a firm two inch tan head. The head falls with some splotchy lacing. The beer is visibly un-filtered looking. The aroma is fresh malt grain, light apple fruit sweetness, touch of nut and caramel behind that. The taste is cracker malt, some pleasant grassiness and a bit of a grain harshness to the finish. The finish also has some generic hop bitterness. The finish is dry and earthy, which extenuates the bitterness further. The palate light to medium bodied, un filtered mouth feel, and the dry earthy bitter finish. Easy enough to drink. Thanks for sending this my way, Brandon!

Pint can from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy, nay murky, amber brown with a creamy beige head. I’m getting light cat pee aroma. Med body. Almost. It is resin/citrus followed by mild roast malt. It is nearly astringent. Pretty nice stuff.
