(Keg at Villi Wainö, 20191012) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had toasted malts, molasses and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, grass, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter and lightly sweet. A rather nice brew with sweet and toasty notes.

Tap at SOPP 2016, Helsinki. Colour is dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Grain, some chocolate, dryness and malts. Pretty clean dry dunkel.

Draught @SOPP Helsinki 2016. Bronze colour, yellow small head. Smell very mild hops, aroma of roasted malt, caramel, some chocolate and hops in finish. Medium carbon, but soft. Dry palate. Tries to be bitter but ends up rather sweet. Quite balanced dunkel.

Tap@ lakeuden panimojuhlat, Seinäjoki. Deep amber, thick white head. Some asparagus, Bradley malty aroma. Flavor has bready malts, some toast. Light but quite easy drinkin dunkel.

Draught @ Bocks Corner Brewery, Gerbyntie 18, Vaasa, Finland 65230. [ As Bock’s Dunkel ].Clear medium brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, malt extract, light toasted - roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, bread, nutty, dark malt, caramelized malt - brown sugar, thin. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20150726]

Keg at Bock’s Corner Brewery, Vaasa. Clear dark brown, small head. Aroma of chocolate and treacle. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Toffee and some bread. Low bitterness.

Tap at brewpub. Nut brown color, small steady off-white head, lace. Yeast, metal, caramel and nuts in the nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Light nutty caramel, light veggie hoppyness. Hints of chocolate. Meh.
