This is our first beer for the grocery stores in Sweden. It’s a low alcohol beer yet with a lot of taste. We’re mashing this beer at a higher temperature in order to build long chains of sugar which are hard for the yeast to digest. That way you get more body to your beer. We are also using quite a bit of munchener malt and light caramel malt for added mouthfeel. We’ve gone with two of our favorite hop varieties. Session Pale Ale is a great mealtime drink but it also works well as a thirst quencher.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small, white head. Decent malt backbone in spite of the low ABV, fruity with some nice aromatics from the hops leading to a solid, late hop bite. A very nice Folköl. 041016

330 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a moderate sized off-white head. Nice aroma of citric fruit and grapefruit. Flavor is sweetish pale malt with refreshing citric fruit and medium bitterness. A bit light bodied and average aftertaste. Quite nice session IPA, almost impressive at only 3,5% ABV.

Bottled (from ICA Gourmet Renmarkstorget, Umeå). Golden colour, mediumsized fluffy white head. Aroma is floral, grassy, some grainy and mild rubbery notes. Flavour is quite metallic with some grassy and grainy notes. Also a nice bitterness in the finish, but ruined thanks to the metallic notes.

33 cl bottle, tasting at work, don’t know where it was purchased. On August 5, 2016.Clear golden color, white head. Fairly malty scent and taste, "Stabil!", some hops coming through as well. Medium mouthfeel, well done for the low ABV. Medium but noticeable bitterness. Malty and hoppy aftertaste.

(330ml bottle from Hemköp Ryd, Linköping) Pours clear dark gold with a small white head that fades. Aroma sweet grain, cornbread, tart lemony citrus, pine, grass, maybe light diacetyl touches. On the palate, quite grainy cereal body with earthy notes, pale corn syrup, pine needles, touch of orange, astringent heavy bitterness that lingers aggressively. Watery with fairly high carb. Meh. Maybe condition is poor.
