330ml bottle picked up at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. A covering tan-coloured head to a deep, jet black body. Spotty lacing. Slightly roasted mid-sweet malty aromas. Taste of grainy chocolate, earth, and dark dough. Bitter roasted ending. Just alright. (Tromsø 12.10.2017).

330 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 4.2%. Black colour, small and thin beige head. Moderate carbonation. Dryish aroma of roast malts, wood and cold coffee. Dry flavour, roast malts and cold coffee again, but also a very slight fruitiness that helps the drinkability. Dry and woody finish, moderate hops.

330ml Bottle - Black in colour. Coffee, cocoa and vanilla in the aroma. Roasted taste with coffee, liquorice, plain chocolate and some slightly earthy notes.

Smell of coffee, roasted malt, smoke. Very dark brown colour, brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, ash, some burnt sugar, coffee. Medium sweet, slightly bitter. Rather watery, light body. Soft but rather plentiful carbon. Half ashy texture.

330ml bottle, thanks rosenbergh! Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma of roastiness, burnt malts, hints of vegetables and coffee. Taste is stingy roasty, burnt and ashy with hints of berries and coffee. Finish is watery, dry and burnt with hints of roastiness and ash. A bit unbalanced.

Bottle from trade with rosenbergh, many thanks. Dark brown color with huge beige head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, licorice. Taste, coffee, ash, licorice, cocoa beans, dark chocolate. medium long coffee bitter finish. Nice beer!

33cl bottle. Pours black in color with a thin brown head. Low carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel. Chocolate, lactose sweetness. Light body. Chocolate, some roasted malt. Short finish. Session stout, quite ok.

Draught @ [ SOPP 2015 ] @ Railway Square / Rautatientori, Helsinki, Finland. [ As Pyynikin Sessio Stout ].Clear dark brown black color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, sweet malt, roasted, burnt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150723]
