0,5 l bottle. Unclear amber in the glass, one finger white head. Hopy smell. Taste starts with fruity elements, some honey, malty and sweetness. Fresh hop in the second row. Pale dry grain in the background. Little bit weird but still interesting.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Bjørnøy 29.12.16. Slightly hazy orange. Quickly diminishing off-white head. Moderate and sweet aroma, with dried fruits, meadows and medium roasted mallt. Medium sweet taste, with dried fruits, syrup, caramel, medium roasted malt and succade. Reminiscent of a good English bitter. Low carbonation. Good drinkability.

Fra flaske på romjulstreff i RBHD des-16: uklar kobberfarge med kort skum. Malt (inkl. rug) og humleprofil som minner om engelsk bitter. Noe citrus mot slutten. Mild bitterhet, lett å drikke.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, deep amber with a small, off-white head. Nose is buttery, slightly fusty with quite some caramel. Medium body, again sweet caramel, the rye may add a slightly rustic edge to it but otherwise it’s just a sweet malty brew with very little character. 290816

Bottle. An unclear amber colored beer with a dense finger thick beige head. Rather toffeeish, malty aroma, close to butterscotch. Some fruityness too. It’s rather malty in the mouth too, lightly fruity, and with some bitter hints. Full body and a soft carbonation. Lasting malty finish. Too much on the malty side this one, toffee-ish in a way, but far from an interesting way. 160804

50 cl bottle from a Netto discounter. Cloudy amber colour with a thin, off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, spiced rye malts, fruits and faint liquorice. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a thin to creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet and fruity-spicy with caramel malts. Not for my likings. Lacks direction.
