Flaska från SB. Bärnstensfärgad vätska med vitt skum. En första doft av våt kartong möter näsan. Därefter citrus och tallbarr. Lite syrligt besk smak. Inte angenäm. Kort eftersmak.

Hazy amber color with small head. Aroma of hops, stale water, light manure, metallic. Toffee flavor, some caramel, undercarbonated, with relatively strong bitterness; the hops provides some resins, no fruits; there is plenty of stale character from the yeast, not offensive but disturbing; therefore the final is almost minty.
Poorly executed, it probably requires a different yeast and temperatures.

First at SBWF 2012. Re-rated from bottle. Black-currant aroma. Grassy taste, balanced bitterness. Fresh.

Bottle bought through Systembolaget. pours hazy reddish golden with a frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some sticky lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is malty, fruity and tiny spicy with biscuits, lemon zest, lemon grass, pine needles, red apples, kiwi fruit, grapes, grass, passionfruit, starfruit, cereal and grapefruit rinds. taste is bitter and fruity with grapefruit juice, lemon zest, passionfruit, starfruit, pineapple, dry wood, black pepper, freshly cut grass, pine needles, resinous wood, strong black tea and unripe mango. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, tiny watery, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with grapefruit rinds, orange zest, lemon zest, pine needles, freshly cut grass, passion fruit, unripe mango and resinous wood. A so-so smell hid a nice thirst-quenching beer.

Hazy amber beer, good cream coloured head. Palate is light and soft and semi dry. Light creamy malt, fairly neutral. Nice hops, mild but with good tropical fruits. A little passion fruit and mango, trace of peach. Finishes soft with a mild bitter linger. Light and pleasant!

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep 2012) Amber colour with brief, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, blood orange, orange peel, grapefruit and caramel. Fruity, hoppy taste with caramel, treacle-toffee, orange peel, grapefruit and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Very promising start from this brewer. Nice one.
