Draught at Parallel 49, Vancouver, 300ml
Black colour. Solid notes of chocolate build the base; it's lean and moderately sweet, the body could be boosted a bit, it gets a bit thin (but only when compared to expectations) in the finish; the coconut is clearly evident, roasted coconut; gentle alcohol warmth, very light acidity feeling; some vanilla, but with so much chocolate and coconut I'm not sure it comes from the oak.
Very good.

On tap. Pours black with no head. Aromas of roasted malts, alcohol and light coconut. Flavors of only vanilla, sour bourbon, light coconut, and sweet roasted malts. Hmmm... messy compared to the original Midnight, but that doesnβt say much...

Dark brown. No head. The aroma is kind of boozy, light coco, lots of toffee, nuts, dark fruits... messy but thereβs a lot of fun stuff here. On the palate, a lot of coconut. Touch of alcohol but a goodly dose of bourbon barrel.

Bottle pour at Weathered, pours black with a tiny head. Nose is full of coconut upfront, with gentle bourbon. Flavour is intense on the coconut - you can just feel the coconut meat in here. Gentle oak barrels. Heaps of coconut here. Lovely.

Taster on Weathered. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: coconuts and some woody notes. Taste: along the same lines, lots of coconuts finally in this one. Overall: good one.
