On tap at Bagby, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is quite sticky, with resinous hops, loads of caramel malt, and toffee. Flavour is hoppy and malty in good balance, with loads of toffee, resinous hops and caramel malt. Assertive hoppy bitterness, with a fat caramel malt component. Excellent.

Draught@CBC2015 (blue session). Amber red colour with a small beige head. Aroma is fruity, floral, toffee, nectar some honey as well as mild alcohol to it. Flavour is very similar, but in a rather nice balance. The alcohol gives a nice sweet touch to the beer in the flavour.

Draught @ CBC 2015 [ Blue Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2015, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark [ As Bagby Hop Whompus ].Clear medium to dark brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, nutty, dusty hops, licorice hops, moderate roasted. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice hops, nutty, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150501]

Keg at the 4th Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Session 2, 01/05/2015. Reddish amber with a decent beige covering. Nose is caramel, pine, earthy hops, biscuit, light tropical fruits. Taste comprises pine needle, candied fruit peel, straw, bitter tropical vibes, caramel, light citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with earthy hop bitterness. Decent hoppy strong.
