Go to bed with Funk Juice, wake up with Brunch Juice. Brewed with barley malt, oats, and lactose milk sugar, Brunch Juice V1 was co-fermented with kveik and lactobacillus. Near the end of fermentation, this iteration of Brunch Juice was conditioned on pureed blueberries, vanilla, cinnamon, and absurd amounts of coconut. Think blueberry pancakes, but in beer form.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy pinkish red with a small pink head. Aroma is quite fruity and pastry-like, with blueberry, cinnamon, lactose and vanilla in some melange. Flavour reveals tart blueberry upfront, followed by gentle cinnamon, vanilla and lactose — can't detect the coconut. Fruity, tart, cinnamony finish. Not bad.

Sort of a pale purplish colour and thin head. On the palate, cinnamon, coconut come out when it warms, and when it's cold it's mostly the berries. On the palate it's quite tart, with the berries up front. There is a bit of vanilla and a touch of cinnamon. Not half bad but very tart.
