Bottle pour at RB Best. It pours a clear red color with a pinkish head. The aroma has some cherry, blackberry and some herbs. The flavor is lightly jammy with cherries and blackberries. Light bodied despite the jammy quality. Good.

Sampled from bottle at ’Craft Beer Corner’. Hazy, dark red with an off-white head. Sourish-fruity, slightly dusty aroma of red grapes, oak and some raspberries. Sweetish, moderately sour, very fruity and slightly dusty taste of red grapes, oak, some vinegar and hints of raspberries, followed by a medium long, moderately tart, woody-dry finish. Thin to medium body, moderately astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice, fantastically balanced between beer and wine.

Pour at SARA. Pours hazy violet, medium pale pink head, good lacing. Aroma is pretty funky, earthy, hint of mushroom, dusty musty, grapes, vinous oaky notes. Flavor is light plus tart, pretty funky, mushroom present but faint. Earthy. Medium body, soft carbonation. Oddly hot for some reason. Huh.

Saurer Traubenantrunk. Deutliche Holznoten, herb, im Mittelteil intensive vinöse Noten. Weich fruchtig, die Säure ist z.T. aggressiv, geht dann aber zurück. Vollmundig. 10/9/11/11/9/11
