One of our more popular sour beers, this soured brown ale is not for the faint of heart. If you remember having this when we made it at Callister then you know what we're talking about. Aromatic, juicy and TART - 6.6%
Love + Trust was brewed just over a year ago and sat in barrels for half a year and then conditioned on Rasberries, Sour Cherries and Cranberries for another half year. Brewed with our good friend/legend Marc - who originally brewed it with Kent long before Boombox began brewing out of Callister. We're thrilled to be bringing this one back to the masses. Fun fact: we haven't served L+T since farmhouse fest 2017!

Can from the brewery
Deep colour, brown, with some dark red hue. Aroma of fruits, berries, acetone, cherries. The acidity is dominating, out of balance; there is very little body, actually the mouthfeel is soapy; some cherry and raspberry flavour, and yeasty dough in the finish. Very mess, it's unbalanced, can't say very pleasant.

473mL can, pours a deep dark purple / dark brown with a very quickly-dissipating small head. Nose brings out lots of woody notes upfront, with gentle balsamic, and tart, dry mixed berries. Flavour follows accordingly, with a lot of wood immediately upfront, which then quickly transitions to medium-high acidity, fairly buried mixed berries, and a touch of balsamic. Very dry and woody mouthfeel, which becomes more and more acidic with each additional sip. On the harsh side for the style. I like the woody character; shame the fruit doesn't come through more, and the acidity is rather bracing. Decent.
