Bottle from Chester Beer & Wine. Golden amber pour with a small white head. Citrus, tropical fruit, yeast and bready malts in the beak. Sweet, fragrant hoppy flavour with the ABV well smothered. Hops not quite singing here but its drinkable and tasty enough stuff.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey, faint golden colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy and slightly grassy, hoppy aroma, lemon notes, a touch of lime and lemongrass. Taste is mouldy, sweaty, resinous, bitter hoppy, slightly papery, cautious citrusy hoppy interludes. Disappointing.

Bottle from S’Beer, Ferney-Voltaire
Hazy golden color with small head. Holy smoke of aroma! Cookie dough and butter; that can’t be right. Medium body strength; butterscotch flavor, sourish, infected.
Seriously problematic.

Bottle - Butterscotch and bread. Cloudy gold with a thin white head. Sweet caramel and butterscotch. Sweet and lots of caramel.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out some off-notes, particularly diacetyl, with herbal notes and dry bready malt -- not right. Flavour is similarly shit, with loads of diacetyl upfront drowning out anything else. This can't be right based on the overall rating. Disastrous.

From a 330ml bottle on 1/3/2015. Pours a murky dark golden with the tiniest of heads. Has a quite pungent fruity nose. Take a sip and there’s some caramel and toffee malt, and lots of sweet citrus and stone fruit. It finishes of with a decent, relatively sharp bitterness, though it’s neither grapefruity or resiny as one would normally expect in a DIPA. Has a relatively full body and average carbonation. This is tasty enough but a bit rough and unsophisticated in comparison to better brews in this style.

Bottle: Deep golden, unclear, mid-sized lacy rocky White head; sweetish bready-malty nose, backed by spicy herbal hops; creamy MF, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; lingering piney-hoppy and malty finish. Good, nothing wrong with it...
