Cask at Hole in the Wall, Portsmouth. Aroma is fruity with a sour streak. Opaque amber. Blotchy foamy white head. Medium bitter. Sour edge. Resin and herbs. Citrus. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough. Relatively punchy but doesn't quite work.

Half-pint, cask ale shared with Finn at Watchmakers Arms. Covering white head, cloudy amber body, fair lacing. Aromas of grassy hops, mid-sweet. Grass, dough and caramel to the taste buds. Rounded bittersweet finish. Fair enough. (Hove 17.10.2019).
