In collaboration with Tourism Richmond, BC Ale Trail, and Monkey 9 Brewing. Named in honour of the 1951 Royal Canadian Airforce Reserve Fighter Squadron based out of Sea Island flying de Havilland Vampire Jets.
The aroma features complex tropical fruit notes of mango and peach intermingling with classic citrus and pine. The flavour is resinous and piney, complimented by a velvety mouth-feel and finishes with a touch of grapefruit and subtle spice from the rye.

473mL can, pours a clear dark copper with a medium white head. Nose is very earthy, with a strange herbal hop character, some boiled veggies, and spicy rye. Flavour is really not that pleasant, with astringently bitter earthy hops, spicy rye, some boiled vegetables, and a bready malt base. Really poor hop profile, with unpleasant astringency and terrible balance. This is very crappy.

Can from Everything Wine, Vancouver
Dull light amber colour, hazy. Mild aroma of biscuity malts and resinous hops. Good body, good caramel and spicy rye flavour, not sticky, fairly dry, bold bitterness, with resinous hops, but not much more. Old school, it's ok.
