Noe tåkete gyldebrun med høyt beige skum. Ananas, grape og blomsterlukt. Lite bitter IPA, bitterhetenspm er kommer sent. Mye fruktsødme i smaken.

33cl from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours hazy amber with an off-white head. Rather mild hoppy aroma with tropical fruits, citrus, herbs and hints of pine. Moderate yeasty with slightly wheaty and spicy notes. Moderate sweet with some acidity and a rather mild bitterness. Mild IPA, but quite drinkable, but also slightly boring. Might work better with food, then. --- Beer merged from original tick of Stille Dal´14 on 13 Dec 2014 at 18:40 - Score: 6

Flaske 330ml under rakfisk-kos på Gleipne 28 Nov 14. Dyp brun. Høyt luftig skum med prikklacing. Utmerket fruktaroma. Smaken velbalansert & innholdsrik. Plommer & svisker. Svakt syrlig ettersmak.

0.33l bottle courtesy of Foffern, shared with The Tasting Crew + yngwie and Meilby. As good as crystal clear golden in the glass this one. A small bubbly kinda off-white head that's desperately trying to leave some lacings, but fails. Dry straw dusty aroma. Some thin nutty caramel, not much more going on really. Suspect this has been better a tad fresher. It's just above average on the bubbles and it has a light only feeling in the mouth. Tastes quite nice actually, caramel fruity with red apples, some sort of dusty licorice and something that reminds me of "Turkish pepper" without the heat. It's a strange wheaty one, but I kinda like it in a different way. 16.06.2014

Bottle. Thx to clubgonzo, palme and inbreak. It’s an unclear, dark golden-orange colored beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma is rather citrusy and funky, with a little maltyness. Peppery hints and grapefruit peel. Medium body, semi-dry and with a soft, a bit low, carbonation. Faintly yeasty flavor with oranges and grapefruit peel. Feels a bit old actually, sort of malty, without being it. Lasting finish. Strange this one, boring and sure didn’t keep well. 140616

330ml bottle at Bjørk Terrassen and another one at Piccadilly, both in Bodø. Nicely served in a tulip shaped glass (Bjørk). Spotty lacework to the glass from a low, white head. Clear amber-gold coloured body, cloudy last pour. Rather fresh aroma of citrus hops on a backbone of semi-sweet malt. Succulent taste profile with orange up front and coffee-chocolate malts beneath. Some mild dark spices as well towards a bittersweet ending. Oily palate. Fine bodied. Clean in the mouth. Pleasing (Bodø 01.03.2014).

Bottle. Has a hazy deep orange colour with a nice amount of light beige foam. The aroma is both sweet and hops with a touch of apricot, citrus, bread, grass, sweet gum, and a little spice and diacetyl. Quite complex aroma. A more pronounced malt character emerges in the flavour with caramel and grass, but still fruity hops in the finish. Has a smooth and full-bodied mouthfeel, and medium and balanced bitterness that lasts. The beer is full-bodied, interesting and hoppy.
