Er en økologisk øl, næsten brygget som den originale sorte lagerøl man finder i Tjekkiet. Den slags sort lagerøl, er blevet brygget i Tjekkiet i mere end fem århundreder. Draught @ Ølhus København, Helsinki. Pours dark brown, almost black with a smooth head. Aroma of syrup, slightly roasty malts and hints of caramel and licorice. Taste is smooth, crisp, malty and syrupy with hints of licorice and caramel. Finish is crisp and malty with hints of roastiness. Decent.

(Keg at Viisi Penniä, 20150923) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had roasted malts, molasses and chocolate. Palate was medium bodied wuth medium carbonation. Flavours were dark chocolate, molasses, herbalness, roasted malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. A nice brew except the rather harsh hops.

Draught @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2015 ] @ Lokomotivvaerkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Hornbeer Czech Cat ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, ash notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long to average duration, roasted, burnt, dark roasted, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
