Er en økologisk øl, næsten brygget som den originale sorte lagerøl man finder i Tjekkiet. Den slags sort lagerøl, er blevet brygget i Tjekkiet i mere end fem århundreder. Der er smag af ristet malt, karamelmalt og rigelige mængder af god humle. CzechCat er undergæret ved lav temperatur. Det sikrer den helt rene smag fra råvarerne. CzechCat er en rigtig god frokostøl.

Tap at Olhus Stockholm, Helsinki. Colour is almost black with small brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, some sweetness, syrup and roastiness.

Draught @ Ølhus København, Helsinki. Pours dark brown, almost black with a smooth head. Aroma of syrup, slightly roasty malts and hints of caramel and licorice. Taste is smooth, crisp, malty and syrupy with hints of licorice and caramel. Finish is crisp and malty with hints of roastiness. Decent.

(Keg at Viisi Penniä, 20150923) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had roasted malts, molasses and chocolate. Palate was medium bodied wuth medium carbonation. Flavours were dark chocolate, molasses, herbalness, roasted malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. A nice brew except the rather harsh hops.

Draught @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2015 ] @ Lokomotivvaerkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Hornbeer Czech Cat ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, ash notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long to average duration, roasted, burnt, dark roasted, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Draught at KØ15. Fruity aroma. Dark brown colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is roasted and fruity. Medium bitterness. Good.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, liqourice and breadish. Bitter, roasted and dark malty. Bitter and dark finish.
