Dark blond color, clean. Some smell of veggies, tomatoes. Good body, moderately sweet; bready malt, veggies, strong bitterness, and metallic finish. Clumsy, not good.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear amber gold with small white head. Stale, sticky malt, dull resin hops. Meh.

473mL can, pours a hazy bright golden amber with a medium off-white head. Nose brings out an oxidized, resinous hop character, along with sticky toffee, caramel and some citrus. Flavour is reminiscent of an old school sticky IIPA, with lots of resinous hops, sweet caramel malt, toffee, bready notes, and maybe a hint of butter. Not a great hop expression, too sticky, and just not all that well executed. OK, but quite flawed.

Dark amber, slight haze. Medium head. Chewy and somewhat cheesy aroma. Medium bitterness, some citrus, but a lot of oxidized hop here. Base malts are a touch sticky, but this is really a hop issue, not using the best and the brightest. That takes it from good 2008 DIPA to dodgy 1998 DIPA territory.
