A true collaboration with our friends at Third Moon Brewing Co in Milton ON. Each brewery brewed a different beer, but when combined they create a third even more delicious beer. We brewed a Baltic Porter and they brewed a Double IPA. Together you get an over-the-top Black & Tan.
But beyond that, when you push the two labels together they create a complete picture and the two names when combined create a whole new name for the Black & Tan. Orchard of Change + Defenestrated Egos (the name of the Double IPA), when pushed together properly, combine to make “Orchestrated Chaos."

Lightly roasted malt notes, quite an upfront pine/resinous hop not. Mouth feel is good, carb is lively. Finish is medium bitter, light fruit in the end with some more pine, and roasted coffee, and hints of cocoa.

16oz (thx, Chris S.!) @ Matt's new place. Appearance: brown with a huge beige head. Aroma: roasty, a bit smoky, slight dark fruits and sweetness. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: it's simple but it's good.

473mL can, pours black with a large tan head. Aroma brings out gentle vanilla, a little roast, and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is slightly above average in sweetness, with medium toasted malt, vanilla and cocoa in good, gentle cohesion. Balanced, cohesive and nice flavour complexity. Very good.
