The base of this beer is our Award Winning Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon Barrels. It was then blended with a different Imperial Stout, Brown Ale, and Abbey Quad, whereupon it was conditioned on Cold Brew Coffee from our friends at Counterpart Coffee to become Powder Keg.
Powder Keg has a deliciously decadent aroma. The coffee explodes from the glass with the bourbon resting just beneath. When it hits the palate you are awash with tiramisu, rich dark chocolate, and a hint of black cherry.
