2oz. Appearance: very dark copper with a nice beige head. Aroma: a complex blend of barrels with sherry and port taking 1st places, berries coming from American oak, probably. Taste: along the same lines, moderately sweet, some light acidity, bold. Overall: good one.

On tap at AleSmith, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is quite decadent and spirit-heavy, with lots of port and sherry barrels, followed by bourbon barrels, and general ethanol. Flavour is pretty monstrous, with intense honey, sherry barrels, a little less port barrel expression, a hint of bourbon, and miscellaneous ethanol and sugars. Cohesive, boozy, and complex. Great stuff, but it's slightly messy and not the height of cohesion.

750ml bottle. Pours a murky dark brown hue; almost black, very little head. A big nose, lots of barrel, big vinous and dusty notes. Rich flavors, thin palate, sweet, tobacco, oak, molasses, definitely some Speedway, sweeter oatwine. Interesting. Very big beer.
