Hopped mixed-culture farmhouse ale
A hard water profile gives Superior a dry and spritzy body, and
accentuates the peppery yeast character, which is a house blend,
including wild yeasts from Texas Hill Countryside and French Saison yeast. The use of Fuggles in this zippy saison adds a herbal aroma and flavour, while Tettnang gives its classic zesty pith flavour.

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde with small white head. Crisp saison yeast, pepper and hay. Simple, decent.

Pale and bright, thin head. Earthy, touch of citrus, moderate bitterness, clean sweet pale malts. Solid stuff.

On tap at Beva, pours a pale golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma has gentle bugs, with subtle rustic notes and dry hay. Flavour is dry and rustic, with lightly spicy saison yeast, hay, and toasted grains. Dry, spicy, clean — not particularly complex. Decent.
