Bottle - Christmas spice, plum, banana and boozy malts. Deep brown with a beige head. Dark malts, spice and a bubbly body. Something is wrong, but for some reason drinkable out of curiosity.

Bottle. Ruby to black with a thin head. Aroma is light caramel. Flavor is creamy chocolate, liquorice, vanilla and spice. Goes well with a mince pie.

Bottle from BOE, split with JF at the pre 5K tasting, 12/11/13. Mid black with a moderate light tan covering that clears edgeward leaving a swirl atop. Nose is dark malt, light spice, liqourice, treacle toffee, jammy fruits.. Taste comprises dark malts, liqourice, dark berry fruits, brown sugar, subtle mulled wine notes, spice, cloves. Light to medium bodied, fairly thin for 4.5%, fruity finale. Ok spiced porter.
