Spontaneous Manifesto marks a milestone as The Monolith’s inaugural 100% Spontaneous Fermentation release. Made using historical methods developed in Belgium over generations, this blend of 1, 2 & 3 year barrels is our quintessential Spontaneous Fermentation blend. The result of these techniques is a unique product shaped by our local environment and indigenous microflora. It showcases classic stone fruit, apple and citric flavours and aromas with some bright red wine fruitiness, and subtle tannin, highlighted by a balanced acidity.

Amber, chill haze. Definitely a gueuzey nose with leather and bugs. Less gueuzey on the palate, more malt, good bugs, a touch lemony, bit of wood and decent complexity. Am i getting a little red wine barrel?

Pale, with slight hae. Bretty, gueuzy nose. Balanced palate - earthy, dry and complex. Great buggy character. Excellent.

A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild tart grapes, brett, sulfur. Taste of tart grapes, apples, brett, sulfur.

From tap at Borefts 2025. Oak and brett funk, puckering sourness, very dry. Notes of grain, citrus. Fairly bitter as well, sour finish.

Iets troebele goudgele kleur met plakkerig wit schuim. Geur is zurig, brett-funky. Zurig in de mond. Smaak is zurig met een vleugje zoet en wat hout. Alcohol voelt warmend. Iets droge afdronk.

Tap at Borefts. Clear golden with creamy white head. Deep funk, Brett, sour wheat, lemon zest, earthy oak. Medium sour, loght sweet. Medium bodied. Nice!

On tap at Borefts 2025. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Funky aroma. Yes some lemon and lime flavours in the mouth some decent funk on the finish .decent sour.

Bottle pour at Bottle Fest 2025. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Tons of musty old furniture and varnished wood on the nose. Flavour is super funky, lots of must and mildew, gentle tartness. Fantastic, complex spontaneous beer.
