Can from Total Wine in Santa Rosa, CA. Pours clear bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of tropical fruit and something else. Med body. Pleasing texture. Dry, but the malt is discernible. Nicely bitter. Flavor seems lychee or white grapes. There's a light earthy note. Not so tropical as the aroma suggested, but I think some citrus is in it. Kind of a kumquat pithy note. Really good stuff.

On tap at Von Ebert Glendoover, pours a mostly clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma erupts with a bouquet of gooseberries and white wine-like hop expression. Flavour is wonderful, harnessing that gooseberry and white wine-like hop character, with just enough malt to back. Excellent usage of the NZ hops.
