12oz bottle. Tickers gotta tick. Hazy unfiltered yellow-orange. Thin, creamy, white head. Mellow orange-banana-tea aroma. Medium bodied, very drinkable, just a touch of bitterness up front...easy yeasty finish. Not outright bad, but not really good either.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy white head. Lemon zest aroma. Flavor is pretty lemon with a little wheat following. Finish is papery/blah, tho the start was fruity.

From a bottle, this beer grows on yah. Looks almost like a white beer. Taste was a little medium strong personality at first but that was the worst part of this beer. Lemon is a tad bitter but you quickly forget about it. Decent sizzle all thru the session. Lemony fer sure but not sweet lemon. Impressed. Good clean finish. Leaves you mouth with a lemon oil coating in the back of yer throat. Does have some of that chewing on lemon rind and pulp thing happening.

Tap at Stagshead this was a free sample and the Abita rep is a very nice guy who pours heavy. This is a dirty blonde color and nose of you guessed it lemon wheat. Tastes lemony, of wheat, bready, light toast, some salt, and maybe feathers.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Giannone, 5/20/13

Aroma: The aroma is wheat and yeast, some spice, mild hop notes, and light lemon
Appearance: It pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a frothy white head and some spotty lace
Flavor: It is lightly sweet, some wheaty flavor, tart and yeasty notes, and some mild bitterness
Palate: The body is fairly light, it has a tingly carbonation, and a mildly astringent finish
Overall Impression: This was decent enough. The lemon comes through as a lightly tart note on a wheat ale. It was different than what I was expecting. I actually thought it was a pretty balanced and drinkable beer, but it is also just a tinge on the dull side. Not bad at all.
