On the tongue, the berry flavor explodes and gives the imbiber thoughts strawberry festivals and early summer. We have added a hint of cinnamon that lingers on your palate. This mead is a semi-sweet wine, that has been back-sweetened with honey to balance the tartness of the berries.

Bottle sample at 1634, pours a clear pinkish red. Aroma is loaded with lightly tart strawberries with a touch of cinnamon. Flavour is quite sweet, with lots of strawberries upfront and light cinnamon. Subdued wildflower honey in there. Nice expression on the strawberries. Very good.
