Bottle from Chester Beer and Wine. Clear dark gold, some residual white bubbles. Very tart stewed apple juice aroma, light caramelisation, with some funk. Taste of moderatly tart apple juice, sweet, quite clean although some pithiness, modest dryness in finish.

Draught. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour with no head. Aroma is green apple skins, some mature apples and mild sweetness. Flavour is green apples, some sweet sugary apples and mild toffeeish and yeasty tones. Complex and somewhat dry palate.

Draught @ Spitting Feathers Brewery Tap, Chester. Pours gold with a light mist. Gentle medium apple fruit on the nose. Taste is moderately light, gentle fruit, soft juice, generally clean, nice apple character but could do with a fleshier apple presence.

BIAB at Station House, Durham. Pale yellow golden colour, no head and apple core aroma. Taste is sweet, fleshy apple, apple core with fruity notes. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, semi-dry finish. Quite OK.

22/7/2018. Bag in a box at the Wor Local Micropub, Prudhoe. Pours hazy pale gold with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of semi-sweet apples and caramel. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light sour. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Dry finish. Decent.
