Like summer in a bottle, Bumper Crop starts with the gentle aromas of freshly gathered lavender and features local honey for a soft, slightly sweet finish. At 5.5% ALC/VOL, it simply tastes bee-yootiful.

Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and crispy. Sweetish floral spice. Light generic fruits. Finishes dry with more aromatic floral spice. Bit dry and over spiced but okay.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s post GBBF minidig, 16/08/14. Clear pale golden with a mdoerate off white covering. Nose carries floral notes, lavender, honey, light bread, grain, spice. Taste comprises much the same, not a huge amount doing but not unplesant, more honey, bread, spice, straw, floral tones. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

Sampled @ ChrisO after GBBF day 2. Hazy pale golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, herbs and spices, slightly honey indeed, a hint of sweet-bitter. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Bottle. Golden pour with a finger of creamy white head. Nose is lavender... very bright and aromatic. Taste I’d mostly lavender with a faint sweetness from the honey. Good use of the lavender I think. One serving is enough though.

750mL thanks to douglas88. It pours out a nice clear deep gold body of brew that supports an off white head. The aroma is bruising with big floral lavender notes with some mild honey sweetness around the edges. I’m not a big fan of big floral brews so the aroma got my expectations low prior to the first sip. The taste has pleasing balance between big flowery lavender and carbonation enhanced spicy hops, yeasty spices and then flowing into sweet honey notes. It ends pretty neutral and a touch dry. The more I drink and get into this beer the more I like it and the aroma seems more inviting as it warms. Solid stuff, well done.

Bottle from a trade with Gription79. Pours hazy dark straw color with white head. Aromas of lavender and wheat with some biscuit malts. Lavender flavor dominates with some biscuit malts with a touch of sweet honey. Medium body with average carbonation. Thanks Dallas.
