Cask at the Plough, Worcester on 31st March 2023. Golden amber with lasting white foam and scant lacing. Bitter hoppy aroma. Intense bitter hoppiness in liquid pass and finish. Smooth mouthfeel and a light to medium body. Exquisite.

Finally – a review from outside Scandinavia ! Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford. Pours a bright golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is sweet with vague hints of lemon and apple. The sweetness continues into the mouth, with a fruitiness which can be narrowed down to a mishmash of apples and other summer fruits. Later on floral hops come into play along with some hints of ginger. Finish is dry and bitter. This is a good solid beer.

Gravicask at Camra’s NWAF. Shared with Finn. Clear golden body, spotty lacing, no head. Herbal hops and buttery caramel nose. Mild caramel flavours together with herbal hops and citrus. Mid-dry bitter ending. Quite refreshing and tasty (Derby 17.02.2016).

Hand-pulled half-pint in The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 6th Dec 13. Golden bodied brew with a white head of thin foam. Caramel biscuit aroma with a mild hop undertone of citrus fruits. The taste was also semi-sweet maltiness and again with a lesser feel of hop citrus ness and bitterness. OK more than great, pleasant enough without setting anything on fire. Medium bodied and the alcohol was well hidden by the blend of flavours.
