Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky tan color with a bit of orangea dn a small foamy orange-tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was malty, meaty, caramel and vegetal - rather bock like to me. The flavor was bitgter, drysih, vegetal, meaty and earthy - again bock like. Medium length finsih. Medium body. Meh.

22oz Bottle pours a clear medium amber with a coarse off-white head. Muted citrus hop aroma, with some papery bitterness. caramelized malt flavors. Sweet smooth palate. Not very bitter, a malty pale ale that is a little strong. Tasty overall..

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. Clear deep orange amber with a thick lasting cream head. Piney resiny aroma. Hops are piney and some resin. Some grapefruit. Sweetish toffee in the mouth. Probably not hoppy enough to be an IPA, but strength suggests it is. More of a balanced pale ale with decent malt and hop flavours. Tastes fresh. Some creamy caramel in the mouth. It’s fine. Some bitter dryness on the finish. Can’t taste the 7% at all. Good well balanced beer.

Bottle @ Jon’s place on the 4th. Pours a burnt orange appearance with an off white head. Caramel, toasted grain, and bread in the nose with some dull citrus. Bland caramel malty, grapefruity, herbal flavor. Seems a bit old.

Bottle, frae Brew Dog on-line store. Amber looks with a middling off-white head baby. Gentle citrus and hops in the beak. More fragrant hoppage unfolded in the taste alongside some caramel malt and fruit notes. Dry. crisp and essentially a likable beer. Props to Sub Pop are definitely worth giving as well.
