Draft. Hazy gold body with orange highlights. Frothy, off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pepper, toasted grain, husks, flowers. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Overly sweet and some raw grain flavors.

Bottled. Tropical fruit and orange nose, dry citrus. Golden orange with lace. Nice fruit flavor, dry and clean. Very drinkable.

An orange amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, smooth fruity malt with light floral and citrusy hops, fruity esters, very Belgian. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, orange pulp, fruity esters, very nice. Sampler at Battle of the Belgians at Jimmys 43.

Shared at Tadg’s bottle with a cool new label. This is an amber gold pour with a nice fruity vibe to it. Tasty, grape hoppy. It is right up my alley.

Pours a hazy golden orange almost amber and leaves the same colored body with a one and a half finger white foamy head that leaves a good amount of foamy slightly clingy lacing in rings; the aroma is a malty citrusy, kinda floral, light lemon sort of smell; the taste starts off bitter, and gets kinda malty but not too sweet, balanced very well, no aftertaste, but has a quick dry finish, pretty easy on the palate - pretty sessionable and smooth; overall, good APA that I would have again

Tap at Elysian, Seattle, 27/05/13. Hazed dark orange/amber with a thin off white head that forms a pond. Nose is juicy hops, bitter orange, caramel, light pine, hint of pissoi. Taste comprises bitter orange, sugars, hops, grass, mandarins, grapefruit. Decent enough APA.

Bottle - Cereal, grassy and some citrus hops. Some toasted malts as well. Clear gold with a huge head. Tropical and subtle fruits, much tamer than the smell. Malts and a bit of bitterness give this a very sessionable pale ale that you could likely drink all night without killing you palate. A nice ale, but not as aggressive as I would have hoped.

When poured chilled there’s very little head and an okay golden body, clear, slight bubbling. Very sweet overlapping hop profile that’s not too overpowering but incredibly sweet. Flavour is a sparkly lemon with intense citrus notes and a very dry hop finish. Leaves the tongue scrunched up. Quite well done for one of these hoppy pacific northwest brews.

New Beer Distributors, NY 355ml ($2.50): Pours a sort of hazy orange color with a off-white head. Light fruitiness, coupled with maltiness. Taste is somewhere around medium hoppiness and some of that lingers onto the aftertaste. Not exactly perfectly balanced. A pretty meh beer.

Poured from 6 fl oz bottle. Clear, orangish-yellow. Citrusy hop aroma. Nice full hop taste, but without a bitter kick at the end. Finish is just above-average.
