Draught@CBC2015. Deep murky brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, some wine like notes, resin, mild sour wood as well as some slight herbal notes. Flavour is roasted malts, some leather, mild liquorice, wood and some sourish notes to it. OK, but did feel a bit strange.

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, wine, white wine, red wine, wood, funky, vegetable notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, funky, leather, wine. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150501]

[5/1/15] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2015. 1st session. Black with a small tan head. Roasty aroma with some wood, coffee, and a bit of fruitiness. Roasty flavor with coffee, wood, licorice, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

Draught sample at CBC 2015. Black with a medium sized lightly tanned head. Roasted aroma with chocolate, coffee, dark malts, bretts, caramel and wooden notes. Taste is lightly sweet. Finishes dark roasted with wood and yeasts. Excellent Stout.

CBC Yellow Session. Keg. Opaque black - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is dry and crisp. Slightly roasty dark malts. Modest dark fruits. Trace of something barrelly! Finishes with tangy fruits. I think the base beer was better.
