Can from The Gull, North Vancouver; 12 June 2023, 2 months old
Golden colour, with slight haze; medium head. The aroma is malty, candied orange too, goat. Lean body, it's not sweet or sticky but the malt takes that direction, which is not very modern, and then converges into some pithy bitterness, with alcohol, and little to say about hop aromatics.
It's ok.

On tap at Studio, pours a clear bright copper golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite restrained for the style, with pleasant piney hops, a touch of grapefruit, and light biscuity notes. Flavour confirms the nose impression but packs more force, with piney and resinous hops, light grapefruit peel, and bready malt base. Clean and nicely balanced, revealing a pretty nice hop profile. Nicely done. Ditch the hazies and brew these west coasts.

Poured from the tap. Clear orangey gold with small white head. Biscuit malt, pine hops, hint of resin on the finish. Decent.
