On tap at Cigar City Cider & Mead, pours a clear amber, no head. Aroma is pretty soft, with light oak, gentle vanilla and a hint of cherry. Flavour is very sweet but lacking complexity totally, with tart cherry, light vanilla and honey. Lots of sugars and flavour but not integrated well or with much complexity. Underwhelming.

On tap at the taproom. Pours pinkish brown. Honey, burnt toffee, vanilla, cherry, sour cherry, sweet, fragrant vanilla. Medium body. Very nice.

Keg at the 4th Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Session 4, 02/05/2015. Reddish pink with a fast collapsing head. Nose is red berries, honey, sweet licks, caramel. Taste comprises berry jam, honey, sweet licks, raspberries, perfume. Full bodied, oily cloying feel, warming alcohol in the close. So so.

Draft. A pink mead. The aroma has notes of berries and honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey and berries.

Hand bottled plastic bottle brought directly from CBC to my hotel room sick bed. Many thanks to rlgk for getting me this! Pours clear pale red leaving some subtle legs on the glass. Smell is fruity and floral with tons of honey, raspberries, strawberries, lingonberries, minerals and alcohol. Taste is sweet, sour, fruity and floral. Mouthfeel is round, tiny viscous, slightly tart, slightly berry skin astringent, boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and sour with honey, raspberries, lingonberries, cranberries, hay, minerals, alcohol and lemon peal. Draught@CBC2015. Red colour with no head. Aroma is fruity, honeylike and some red berries as well as mild herbal notes. Flavour is honey, some red berries, a bit fruity and nectary notes with some slight resiny elements to it as well. Balanced.

Tap@CBC2015, Green Session - pours red with no head. Aroma and taste is very sweet with honey, grapes, berry fruits, some caramel sweetness, medicinal and herbal nuances, sweet finish.
