Boston American Pale Ale er en velhumlet gylden ale, brygget med de tre amerikanske humletyper Chinook, Amarillo og Simcoe. I duften får man aromaer af citrus og grape, og i munden kommer der behagelige noter af harpiks og orangeblomster, efterfulgt af en markant men behagelig bitterhed. Boston American Pale Ale er en øl, der er en oplevelse i sig selv, men den egner sig også glimrende som ledsager til både danske frokost- og middagsretter samt til krydret orientalsk mad.

50cl bottle from Føtex, Fredrikshavn. Pours clear golden with a decent, lasting, white head. Moderate hoppy aroma with grass, pine, citrus, malt and notes of caramel and hints of ripe fruits. Moderate to medium sweet with dominating hoppy flavours and some caramel. Finishes medium bitter. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Bottle @ Føtex. Pours golden with a white head. Flowers, mild citrus and grass. Subdued and not very shiny but a decent drinkability. No off flavors.

5dl bottle. Pours clear golden with a small white and long-lasting head. Good lacing. Hoppy aroma with grass, some pine, malts. The taste is dry and bitter, short bitter finish.

Bottle @ Home. Pours golden with a creamy white head. Aroma of malt, grassy hops, light citrus. Flavor is malt, light caramel, grass, fruit, citrus, just a hint of metal. Medium body, average carbonation, lasting bitter finish. 170215

Golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with light fruity and floral hop notes, along with a soapy touch. Sweet malty flavour with a little too much caramel. A fruity hop note, and decent bitterness, but not quite enough hop character.

Clear amber, airy white head. Aroma has caramel and fruity hops, pineapple. Flavour has inital caramel turning light grapefruit bitter and grassy. Citrus, light piney bitter and dry. Rather short lived flavour.
