Swedish Lambic Style beer brewed with water, hops, barley/wheat malt and yeast.

After 10 months fermentation in oak barrels cloudberries were added for additional 6 month maturing before bottling.

Somewhat sweet, fruity, berry sour beer with tones of vinegar in both aroma and flavor.

Bottle courtesy of tkrjukoff. Pours hazy and milky vibrant yellow with a small white head that doesn’t leave much trace while dissipating. Smell is sour and fruity with crackers, lemon juice, yuzu juice, cloudberries, hay, dry soil, lemon zest and hints of barnyard. Taste is sour, fruity and tiny acetic with crackers, lemon juice, cloudberries, hay, dry soil, green apple skins, lemon zest and hints of barnyard. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, slightly throat-burning acetic and light bodied. Finish is sour, tiny acetic and fruity with crackers, lemon juice, cloudberries, hay, dry soil, unripe currants and lemon zest. Simple but tasty. Without the acetic acid it would have been great. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lambic - Hjortron on 30 Aug 2014 at 18:41 - Score: 7. Original review text: 3,7. Great cloudberry smell!
