A dark, rich stout; black in color with a tan head. Our American Stout has a rich mouthfeel, a rich dark chocolate taste and a slightly roasty middle. This beer finishes with a little hop bitterness to round it all out.

Tap at source. Pours black. Nice aroma of chocolates and coffee, perhaps a little light smoke. Sweet flavor, dark and milk chocolates, alcohol, and light coffee. If all of their beers were this well made I’d stop by more often.

Black colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is ripe fruits, some chocolate, mild toasted and nutty notes. Flavour is liquorice, some ripe fruits, sweet malts and mild chocolaty and toasted notes. Mellow, and rather tasty with a good body to it.

It pours a dark brown body under a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is chocolatey, roasted and with some coffee and charcoal. It’s quite dry on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Full body. Chocolate, coffee and roasted malts in the flavor, with a good bitterness. Pine cone notes. Lasting finish with chocolate and bitterness. A bit one dimensional this one, but nice too. 150227

A little astringent where it should be bitted and generally unbalanced. Pours black with OK head and lacing. Some coffee, sharp roast. Tap at black squirrel.
