As its name would suggest, this beer might surprise you. It’s so good that grown men have been known to demonstrate domestic prowess in the home, just to nip out for a pint (or two…) of this beautiful, hoppy, India Pale Ale

Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#94. Hazy paler golden, looking a bit weak. Taste is fine though steady citrus in both aroma and taste, not really sweet or bitter, but fruity.

Cask @ Egham Beer Festival. Hazy reddish color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, nicely hoppy, light to moderately fruity, soft but decent bitterness. Quite nice. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Gravity dispense at EBF 18, 07/08/14. Murky dark amber/chestnut brown with a moderate off white covering that retains well. Nose is earthy hop, pine, bread dough, bitter orange. Taste comprises light tropicana, mineral notes, soft bread dough, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with some hop presence. Ok but not strong or hoppy enough for an IPA, APA perhaps?

Cask at The Brewhouse Pub & Kitchen, Portsmouth, Friday 13th June 2014 Pours light amber with a nice golden sheen. Aroma like a more hoppy robust ESB and with. Good bitterness, a little furry, juicy also. Tastes stronger than 5%. Good. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
