Intense sweet malty with layers of caramel and toffee sweetness building, brown sugar and cocoa, dried fruit shred, the apple brandy barrel aging is beautiful especially as it warms up, great mouthfeel and full bodied smooth warming malty close. BIL ??
Lots of apple brandy, I think I prefer bourbon for this but still really good. Just the apple compounds with the sweet raisiny thang 3 sons does and it approaches cloyingly sweet.

Bottle, 500 ml at my Grande. 2023 Vintage. Dark brown with beige head. Chocolate, caramel, apple, cocoa, medium sweetness, barrel. Medium+ bodied.

Bottle picked up during Peders 3 Sons TTO & bottle drop and shared at home with the Mrs (01/04/2024) - pours darkest brown to black with a small ringed tanned head. Intense sweet malty with layers of caramel and toffee sweetness building, brown sugar and cocoa, dried fruit shred, the apple brandy barrel aging is beautiful especially as it warms up, great mouthfeel and full bodied smooth warming malty close.
