Pours black, no head. Scent is maple, roast, sweet impression. Taste is full, sweet, maple forward. Sharp boozy touch (but very mild in intensity). Medium coffee. More maple than the regular 2024 version. Caramel is hidden. What a pleasant surprise !

Sweetish, roasty and heavy with some caramely notes, coffee, syrup and toffee. A bit heavy.

Consummate pastry. Rich, sweet, gooey chocolate, toasted caramel, creamy mousse, boozy warmth. Satisfying in modest dosage.

Bottleshare at CBJ, thanks to Wingman. Almost clear dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, mildly dry, good fine carbonation. Soft but intense creamy chocolate malts. Maple, good fruity bourbon, bourbon soaked ripe fruits. Spicy viscous finish. Rich!

Bottle split at CBJ Tasting Night, thanks to Dave, 09/04/2025.
Black topped with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is rich roast, molasses, caramel, chocolate melt.
Taste comprises chocolate, bourbon rip, figgy jam, booze tunes, light roast, fruit cake, touch of maple syrup.
Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with boost that's kept in check.
Tidy pastry.
