Big floral notes in this American inspired ale. A little bit of pithy fruit and a little bit of grass come through on the nose, with a lingering bitterness. First brewed in 2012, we bring this easy drinking little beauty back every now and again.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy and tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple, mandarine, hints of physalis, sweet-ish, biscuity, pale malty basis. Taste is dry hoppy, slightly fruity, zesty and minimally chalky, orange zest bitterness; mineral and chalky, bitter finish. Exhibits the typical Session IPA weakness of significant malt support abatement.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Gold colour, with a soft haze. Blotchy, lasting, white head. Lots of peach stone and some lime juice twang. Grassy and sweet malt background. Taste sets off sweet and gets fairly bitter. Light body. Not too clean on the palate. Feels a bit oily. Lengthy, grassy bitter finish.

Clear golden color with a bubbly white head on top. Some lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body. Soft to average carbonation level. Felt quite fresh and fine to drink. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Good condition. Citric, fruity, mild pine and malty flavor. Nice session ale!

Cask ale, half-pint, at Queen’s Head, Chelmsford. Misty, dark golden body. Spotty lacing from a dissipating white head. Freshly hopped fruity nose. Fresh fruity taste as well, tropical fruits and herbal hops. Smooth fruity bitterness to the finish. Well made. Refreshing with good session qualities (Shared with Cunningham 19.02.2017).
